Canine CSI Course with John Rogerson

Saturday 25th to Tuesday 28th June 2022

Is your dog the Cluedo genius of the doggy world? Can your trusty four legged friend help you unlock the clues to discover who has been murdered and how it has been carried out?
On this 4 day course John Rogerson, the world renowned dog trainer and behaviourist will teach you how to train your dog various skills such as how to track, search, locate people and lost items. You will work with your dog as a team to solve the mystery of the murder.
4 days of working in teams with your dog. You don’t need any prior experience and you don’t have to have done any formal training as all training will be given over the 4 days – you will be in teams and each team will be fairly split to cover all training levels so if you’re a total novice, a pet dog owner wanting to try something different or a trainer who wants to have a huge amount of fun then this course is for you. But you don’t have to have a dog……. there are spectator/helper places available where you will be learning the training skills and helping the teams whilst being in a position to learn dog related skills to take away with you.

This course is suitable for anybody who is a dog owner, has an interest in dogs and dog behaviour, training and problem solving.

John Rogerson Clean Boot Tracking Weekend

Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th September 2022

Clean boot tracking (tracking the clean boot) is a sport that is popular in Europe but, up till now has been restricted to Bloodhounds in the UK. Now for the first time this 2 day course will allow you access to this fascinating tracking sport in the UK as well.
As in working trials the dog is required to follow the track of a person but unlike Working Trials the dog is not required to take multiple turns on the track – it is much like search and rescue tracking where the dog is actually trying to find the person who laid the track not minute articles that the tracklayer has carefully placed!
The culmination of the track is for the dog to reach the end and then identify the person who laid the track from a line up of suspects! It is carried out at a fast walk or slow jog and has much more of a practical purpose than working trials or Schutzhund tracking – both great dog sports in their own right, but this is ………Different!!
PLUS lots of fun to train.

No prior experience needed as all training will be given.

This course is suitable for anybody who is a dog owner, has an interest in dogs and dog behaviour, training and problem solving.
Places will be limited – handler places now booking up fast
